Face Pulls

 

Babywearing Option: Front or back carry would be appropriate for this movement.

Points of Performance:

  • Create a triangle with the band, and pull the band towards your face.

  • As you pull the back towards your face, there will be a slight external rotation of the shoulder, as the forearms lift higher than the shoulders.

  • There may be a tendency to flare the ribs as you pull back, focus on exhaling as you pull to help keep the ribs in position.

  • Think about pulling the shoulder blades together as you pull, and relax in the upper shoulders as you pull.
