Week 8


Welcome to Week 8 of the Postpartum Return to Running Program!  

We continue with plyometrics 1 this week, while increasing the length of our running intervals.  The overall running time stays the same (10-minutes) but the intervals increase to 2-minutes.  

Same as last week, monitor symptoms, focus on your alignment and breathing during each interval.  Pace is moderate, so you should be able to speak a sentence before getting winded.  

Focus on stability of the hip and knee during the plyometrics, and if you don't feel ready to progress next week, stay with plyometrics 1 until you feel ready.
